Silver Lake

I've been up at our "shack" at Silver Lake for awhile now and have been experimenting with my new camera. I was lucky enough to get this shot last week right at the beginning of a storm. I am now a bona fide camera junky - I NEVER go anywhere without at least one of my cameras!

He's Back!!!

It is a very happy day in the Rajski household (well, ok - Trent isn't exactly grinning from ear to ear). My cat Teddy came home! He's been missing since Memorial Day weekend. At the end of May I finally gave in to the idea that he was probably dead and I have been missing him ever since. You can see his obituary here.



I have no idea where he's been or what he's been doing, but he just sauntered in 2 days ago like nothing was up and I went crazy I was so excited - He acted like he could care less. I guess that's a cat for you.



He's a little skinnier, but other than that he looks healthy. What I wouldn't give to have one of those little camera's to attach to his collar to see where he's been.

My baby is FOURTEEN!!!???

Happy Birthday Cody. It seems like just yesterday that we were waiting for you to arrive into our lives. I remember when you were 5 you promised me you would never grow up. Now look at you - you're 3 inches taller than me and outweigh me by 30 pounds. I can't believe you can pick me up and throw me over your shoulder.

You are the best thing that ever happened to us and we love you very much. You make me laugh - a lot - and I really like that!
